Excess sugar intake can lead to the pounds around your mid section and heart disease. A simple rule is to keep it to 100 calories of added sugar.
Unfortunately, most Americans get about 430 calories of added sugars daily -- enough extra to easily contribute to the growing pandemic of obesity and cardiovascular disease.
